This outdoor forest scene, rendered and assembled in unreal engine 4, was made using ZBrush, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter and Substance Designer, along with some additional assets from quixel MegaScans and SpeedTree. It was made over the course of 3 weeks while also working on other projects.
Below you can find some additional screenshots (click to enlarge) and some close up shots from some seperate assets and materials that were made by me. The water shader is animated, and the grass, ferns and tree leaves move with the wind.
These screenshots were not fully taken realtime, because they are downscaled from a higher resolution, but the actual scene will run at a playable FPS, with no baked lighting. No post processing was added outside of unreal engine except for a subtle vignette.
